Who this concerns

This project has immediate relevance and strategic importance for the European Union, its individual member states, local labour markets, firms and individual citizens, as it will provide evidence and means concerning local welfare systems favouring social cohesion. The project seeks to identify promising practices which may increase female labour force participation and social cohesion.

Potential users of the results will be (1) the academic community, (2) political actors at the European, national and local level, and (3) the wider civil society, including NGO’s, the business community, social movements etc. Through the dissemination of the results our findings will offer practical use through the diffusion of new ideas; know-how, experiences and promising practices.
