30.08.2014
On October 9-10, 2014 the FLOWS project will participate in the conference: Towards Inclusive Employment and Welfare Systems: Challenges for a Social Europe.
The project will also arrange a workshop with the title: The Impact of Social Investment on Gender Parity and Social Cohesion
The aim of the conference is to explore current social trends in Europe as well as the effect of social investment or active inclusion-oriented policies - where they exist - on patterns of social inclusion and exclusion. Attention will also be paid to the intersection between policy and governance, and the question how social and employment policies are (best) implemented, especially at the local level. More conceptual considerations about the current direction of social and employment policy in Europe are also welcome. It is six FP7 research projects which are organizing the conference and FLOWS are one of the six. The other are: COPE, ImPRovE, INSPIRES, LOCALISE and WILCO.
